AWS Well-Architected Framework
“Today and in the coming months, it’s important to go back to the fundamentals and use frameworks like AWS Well-Architected Framework” – said Werner Vogels, Amazon’s CTO in his Keynote speech during AWS Online Summit on June 17.
The AWS Well-Architected Framework describes the key concepts, design principles, and architectural best practices for designing and running workloads in the cloud. It is built on 5 main pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization. Those pillars are fundamental to successful design in the cloud. The challenge is understanding how the five pillars of the framework work together.
Through this framework, you can take advantage of the same proven approaches that are used to build services around the world. As an AWS Select Consulting Partner, we can give you access to the experienced AWS Architects able to implement this approach to your particular project.
